Hi! I'm Jake Gillespie, and I'm a Lawrence/Kansas City based actor, writer, improviser, comedian, and Sagittarius. I started acting in high school, but have been doing accents and all-around silly little voices since I first learned how to speak. When not working my 9-5 job, filming, rehearsing, or spending time with family and loved ones, I spend my time performing and attending shows at the Bird Comedy Theater in the Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City. I grew up watching Disney's Robin Hood and Mel Brooks' Robin Hood Men in Tights practically on repeat. So, getting this chance to bring my own sense of humor and charm to a childhood hero of mine has been a dream come true! On top of that, I got to work with my daughter, Brooklyn, as she joined the cast. Another dream fulfilled thanks to Rennie! I count myself lucky to be a part of this wonderful film, made by amazing and loving people.
